Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is the next franchise foray

Posted on December 9, 2022

Bayonetta 3 was just a short few months ago and already we have word on the franchise’s next moves. Fresh from The 2022 Game Awards, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon has now been announced!

Featuring a story of a young Bayonetta (otherwise known as Cereza), the art style is vastly different from that of the typical series entries. A very water-coloured picture book look is featured, playing into the whimsical nature of our hero’s early life. Her adventures look to include plenty of puzzle-solving, her befriending of demon Cheshire and at least some of the typical Bayonetta combat we’ve grown to know and love.

Thankfully, it’s also a short wait to jump into the shoes of the Umbra Witch once more. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon releases March 17 2023, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Certainly a cute affair looks to be in store for fans!
