Fortnite welcomes Ahsoka skin in brand new heist themed season

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. Nope, it’s once again time for Fortnite to do its season change! Out with the WILDS theme from season three and in with the new LAST RESORT theme for Fortnite season four. After a particularly untamed season of vine riding and primal Transformers – yep, that happened – it’s out with the old and in with stealing stuff from vaults. Get around the trailer below!

You wouldn’t steal a Fortnite win… or would you? Season four of chapter 4 puts players to the test with new stunning heist points of interest on the map as well as new vault mechanics that players might recognise from early seasons of the game. Each of the main 3 vaults gives players the choice of unvaulted weapons and consumables which might help you steal a win.

There’s also a new loadout of fresh weapons, including a battering ram that also functions as a rideable rocket and a turret that can track and automatically shoot enemies. The Rocket Ram as it’s aptly titled can make short work of buildings and even players if you aim it in the right direction. It feels like a stunning return to form for the game after season 3 began to drag. Fortnite really feels at its best when it’s leaning into that technology and it makes it really easy to have fun while dying to sweaty players.

It also wouldn’t be Fortnite without a few legendary collaborations in the works now, would it? Not only are we getting Ahsoka with this season’s battle pass, but they’ve also just released an Ice Spice emote in the item shop. The emote is worth 500 V-bucks in-game, which is certainly a good flex on your enemies.

In preparation for the upcoming Ahsoka Tano series on Disney Plus, her character has been added to the game as a cosmetic. Players who have the Battle Pass will be able to earn the Ahsoka skin by completing challenges that will be released later in the season. Even though fans of the animated series have been requesting a skin that better aligns with Fortnite’s art style, the skin is based on the live-action Ahsoka Tano.
