It’s time to save the world from evil once more as it’s Morphin Time! Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a brand new game by Hasbro Retro Arcade and Digital Eclipse, where you play as five teenagers in this arcade-like fighting game. The goal is to stop Rita Repulsa and her army as the Power Rangers.
The trailer for this new action-packed game was revealed during Summer Games Fest 2024, where you and the rest of the rangers travel across the city to stop these aliens from wreaking havoc. It’s not just the grunts that the heroes have to deal with, they also have to face some bosses, either through hand-to-hand combat or through other means, like riding rollercoasters or in their Megazord.
According to the game’s Steam page, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind will feature references and enemies from the classic 90’s TV show and the 2023 film, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always, thanks to the appearance of Robo-Rita. It also promises multiplayer features, where you can team up with up to 5 friends to save the world from evil. The game promises an arcade-like experience as well as a chance to take part in the origins of the Power Rangers through this game.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is now available to the wishlist on Steam and is scheduled to come out in 2024.
