Nomada Studio is back with a brand new game, titled Neva. This upcoming title has you playing Alba, who’s travelling across various lands with a white wolf cub, as they try to survive together in a “dying world.”
A trailer was released during this year’s Summer Games Fest, where we see Alba and her wolf companion travelling to vast and colourful landscapes while fighting dangerous creatures lurking in the wild. Alba and her wolf will have to work together if they want to continue with their journey.
According to the game’s official website, Neva is described as “a game about, love, identity, growth, trust, and courage”. It claims that players will have the chance to witness their relationship evolve throughout their adventure.
Nomada Studios is known for its 2018 award-winning game, Gris. That game received an average Metacritic score of 84 on PC and won 2019’s Game Awards for the “Games For Impact” category, also nominated during the 15th British Academy Games Awards for “Artistic Achievement,” “Debut Game,” and “Music” categories.
Neva is scheduled to come out in 2024 for PC, PS5, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch.
