An escaped Sleeper with a malfunctioning body, players will get a ship, find a crew, navigate relationships, and try to survive in the Starward Belt. Can’t wait that long? Good news: developer Jump Over The Age has released a demo for the dice-driven RPG, which you can download now until December 8th.
Citizen Sleeper was highly praised for its characters, world, and mechanical elegance—even inspiring a tabletop roleplaying game. Talk about full circle. However, criticism focused on uneven difficulty and endings, which our reviewer found undermined some of the narrative stakes.
