Spanish indie developers Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour are working together to self-publish a new title, Many Nights a Whisper.
Many Nights a Whisper is a bite-sized narrative experience that they expect you will be able to complete in about an hour. You play as the ‘dreamer,’ an individual selected to participate in a ceremony that involves making an impossible slingshot shot. This shot will ‘shape the fate of a generation’, so hopefully your aim is true.
While preparing for the ritual, you’ll be able to practice with your slingshot, converse with your mentors, or even decide to grant the wishes of townspeople. The teaser trailer doesn’t show off much, but I personally love the low-poly style already.
Deconstructeam is known for narrative games The Red Strings Club and The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, both of which were published by Devolver Digital. Selkie Harbour is a smaller outfit, a two-person indie team that has been working with Deconstructeam for a variety of experimental releases on itch.io.
Many Nights a Whisper doesn’t have a release date yet, but you can wish list and follow it on Steam.
