Get excited, cozy gamers; the free-to-play, online multiplayer game Palia is finally launching on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 consoles on May 13. As well as their full console launch, May 13 also marks the next free content expansion, and it claims to be the biggest one to date. Get ready to explore the new and mysterious Elderwood!
Elderwood is a lush, mysterious new zone for players to explore, boasting new quests, collectibles, creatures, magical artifacts, and secrets to find. New game mechanics are being added, as magical relics can offer your party different buffs, and the artifacts are a whole new equipment type unique to Elderwood. There will also be new decor items for your home, stylised after the new location.
The console launch of Palia boasts full optimisation for console play, with full cross-play and cross-progression, meaning regardless of whether you’re playing from the couch or your desk, you can be sure all your hard work is being maintained. Alongside the new content, there is the new Elderwood Refer A Friend program, which grants a player a fully interactive Elderwood Fun Guy plush, which grows in size for each friend you refer.
This feels like the perfect time to get back into Palia for anyone who’s been taking a break, or a great opportunity to jump in for the first time for any new players who might only have a console, so charge up those controllers and we’ll see you May 13, in the Elderwood!
