Summer Games Fest 2025 is going strong with many exciting game announcements. One of them was a surprise reveal from Namcai Bando in a sequel to the 2019 action-adventure game Code Vein. They unveiled a cool-looking trailer that shows two anime-style characters teaming up to save the world from its fate.
It’s hard to tell exactly what is happening in the trailer, but it appears to show the female character activating a magic that takes the two back in time to prevent the world from its current fate. The trailer shows a marked graphical improvement from the original game, as well as some impressively intimidating bosses and some flashy moves. We even see a motorcycle at some point! This is just a brief announcement trailer, so it’s not yet clear exactly how Code Vein 2 fits into the story of the first game, and whether it will change depending on which ending the player got.
Code Vein 2 will be released sometime in 2026 to PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
