Today’s Xbox Games Showcase saw the reveal of Invincible VS, a three-versus-three fighting game published by Skybound Games and developed by new studio Quarter Up.
It sees the player choose three different heroes and villains from the popular Amazon animated series of the same name in bloody Mortal Kombat-style fights. Reportedly, voice actors from the series, such as J.K. Simmons and Steven Yeun, will be reprising their roles.
The debut trailer reveals a range of fighters to choose from, including Invincible, Omni Man, Atom Eve, Bulletproof and viltrumite antagonists Conquest and Thula.
Invincible VS is the debut title of newly formed studio Quarter Up – they are the first in-house studio at Skybound and are led by former developers on Killer Instinct (2013). This follows the release of other videogames based on the television series and graphic novel from Skybound Games, including visual novel Invincible Presents: Atom Eve and mobile RPG Invincible: Guarding the Globe.
Invincible VS is scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X.
