Cyberpunk 2077 is going to have a limited-edition Xbox One X bundle available for purchase. Microsoft and CD Projekt Red teamed up to design this brightly coloured, grungy take on the usually sleek looking console, complete with light-up LEDs, custom panels, glow in the dark accents and a matching controller!
Awkwardly though, when Microsoft first began to tease the release of this console, it’s design was quickly spoiled by a series of leaks that showed it off well before the official announcement. At any rate, we can still expect more information about the bundle’s exact price, release date, and featured contents soon enough. Although the next generation of consoles might be looming, those who have been holding off on purchasing an Xbox One X up until this point could certainly be tempted by this new design.
The console is currently set to be available as of June this year, though the game itself (so far) won’t be released until September 17th. It seems an odd choice, but with Cyberpunk 2077’s release originally being planned for April, it makes sense that the console is now going to come out before. Since this is the case, the console does not come packaged with a copy of the game, so keep that in mind if you intend to purchase one.
It was recently revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be one of the first games to make use of Microsoft’s new “Smart Delivery” system, which means if you purchase it or Xbox One, you’ll get the game for free on the next generation of Xbox as well. Here’s hoping the game still hits its September 2020 release date considering other games that have been impacted by COVID-19.
