One of the highlights of 2020 was the frantic multiplayer mayhem of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Fighting against other colourful beans to win the ultimate silly battle royale, the game became a smash hit on PC and PS4 where it was part of the PlayStation Plus subscription service. Now, it looks like that exclusivity deal is running out, as Fall Guys is heading to Switch and Xbox platforms later this year.
First, at the Nintendo Direct yesterday, Fall Guys was revealed to be coming to Switch in the below trailer. While fans were excited, it did leave Xbox owners out in the cold. When is this fun little game going to be coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X?
Well, we can all breathe a massive sigh of relief, as today via social media, the Fall Guys Twitter added that the much anticipated Xbox release of Fall Guys is also happening later this year.

Both versions of the popular game will be releasing in Summer 2021 US time, which means that we can expect it sometime between June and August in Australia, roughly a year after it debuted on PC and PS4. Fall Guys unfortunately looks like it won’t be coming to Xbox Game Pass, however, according to Devolver Digital. It seems like a natural fit for the service so this could absolutely change, but for now it will be full price upon release with no plans to come to the popular subscription service. This is off the back of the title being the most downloaded PS Plus game ever.
