It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Halo Infinite campaign in action; after it was not-so-well received last year, we were treated to some multiplayer footage more recently that looked a lot more promising.
Now, we’ve got a bit of a deep dive on what we can expect from the campaign, showcasing the biggest Halo campaign to date, some of the enemies we can expect to encounter and some pretty dynamic action that looks to propel Halo into the new generation with style. Check it out.
It’s certainly looking great visually, a huge improvement on what was shown in 2020 ahead of what was supposed to be a launch title for the Xbox Series X. It’s also exciting to learn more about the open world exploration, some RPG style mechanics and even some Banished outposts and bases that can be captured, Far Cry style. Master Chief also seems more mobile than ever, leaping from ships and using his grappling hook in what will surely create many epic sharable action-movie moments.
While it won’t be launching with the campaign co-op and Forge modes, it’s still shaping up to be quite the adventure and easily one of the biggest game releases of 2021.
Halo Infinite will launch on December 8, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and via Cloud.
