Gone are the days of being tunnelled and sandbagging that one generator-fixated friend! The latest game collaboration using the Dead by Daylight IP has been announced at The Game Awards. Until Dawn and The Quarry developer Supermassive Games is collaborating with Behaviour Interactive on the upcoming project. The Casting of Frank Stone is looking like it will be the perfect teaming of two very iconic horror developers.
Supermassive Games have garnered a great reputation so to finally have eyes on a reveal trailer for this is definitely exciting. It’s also quite wild hearing a TikTok famous song be the backing track for this trailer and yet it fits it perfectly.
As a veteran player of the main game, being able to approach these stories through a new lens is exciting! A narrative experience in a world with so much lore, The Casting of Frank Stone follows a new group of survivors investigating a steel mill.
It also wouldn’t be DbD either if we weren’t being chased by an eerie killer. While we haven’t seen much about the killer yet, I’m sure we’ll be seeing them appear in the main game in due time.
The Casting of Frank Stone is expected to launch in 2024. It will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. You can wishlist the game on Steam here.
