LEGO Pokémon Collaboration Set announced for 2026

Posted on March 20, 2025

LEGO, the toy construction brick company which needs no introduction, has unveiled an upcoming collaboration with Pokémon. This marks the first collaboration between these brands, however the exact details of what we can expect are vague as of yet.

Officially unveiled in a social media post, this upcoming collaboration advises that fans should “get ready to electrify your imagination in 2026“. The page on the LEGO website regarding the collaboration expands on this slightly more. It announces that the collaboration “brings your love for bricks and your love for Pokémon together” and that “In 2026, we’re calling all Pokémon Trainers to get ready to build and catch some of their favorite Pokémon!

LEGO is of course no stranger to working with video game brands. LEGO has already collorated with both Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario Bros, releasing official sets based on the famous video game franchises. LEGO and Nintendo also announced a LEGO Game Boy earlier this year, which will be available in October. That isn’t even to mention the LEGO-branded games, from adaptations like LEGO Horizon Adventures and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to original fare like LEGO 2K Drive.

With there being over 1000 different Pokémon as of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, it will be interesting to see which ones will be represented in these upcoming LEGO sets. We will have to wait and find out more when this colloration between LEGO and Pokémon releases in 2026.
