Nintendo announces Animal Crossing collab with Crocs

Posted on July 10, 2025

While a new Animal Crossing game for the Switch 2 is yet to be announced, Nintendo has revealed an upcoming collaboration with the footwear brand Crocs. Animal Crossing x Crocs is a brand-new collection set to release this year, featuring a cute, yet Animal Crossing-themed design for the iconic clog, as well as Jibbitz featuring the franchise’s notable characters.

Nintendo announced the news on their website, revealing the designs of this upcoming collab. The Animal Crossing Platform Clog will be available in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes, featuring the iconic blue and green colourway similar to the limited Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed Switch, but with some whimsical island-design touches, such as waves, sand, and trees. It will also include some Jibbitz that won’t be sold separately, featuring the likes of Tom Nook, Isabelle, Timmy and Tommy, and K.K. Slider, as well as a house, a bag of bells, and an apple tree. These clogs will cost $54.99 USD for the kids’ version and $84.99 USD for adults.

Additionally, this collection comes with two sets of Jibbitz charms, each costing $19.99 USD. The first features the Mabel Sisters, and the other features Celeste, Blathers, and Pascal. There are also Villager Jibbitz that cost $4.99 USD, featuring the likenesses of Marshal, Rosie, and Bunnie.

This isn’t the first time Animal Crossing has collaborated with a clothing brand. Back in 2021, Nintendo announced a collaboration with Puma, which features not only exclusive shoes but also T-shirts and sandals. These were extremely limited and sold out immediately after their release.

The Animal Crossing franchise has released five games worldwide since it began in 2001. Its most recent title, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, sold over 47 million copies when it was released in 2020, making it the second Top-selling game on the Nintendo Switch, sandwiched between Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It also became Japan’s best-selling game of all time, outselling the original Super Mario Bros and Pokémon Gold/Silver.

Animal Crossing x Crocs will be available on the Crocs website store and at its physical retailers on August 26. 2025.
