After some teasing earlier in the week about some ominous red lights, Xbox Wire has confirmed that Xbox Game Pass in December is one of the strongest months we’ve ever seen, with one of the biggest games of 2019 in Control leading the charge.
Xbox Game Pass has been going from strength to strength, with some amazing games being added to the service all the time, and as recently as November 10th adding EA Play into the mix as well. Some other highlights of the month include Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, which is notably the first time Dragon Quest has ever graced an Xbox console in its history. It’s also one of the best Dragon Quest games ever.
Other stand-outs include adorable-looking indie Haven that juggles a sweet relationship with a unique world to explore, and Call of the Sea, a new Xbox indie that looks amazing. Then we have the enjoyable royalty simulator Yes, Your Grace, underrated RPG Greedfall and cute platformer Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. And that’s all in the same one-week period. Calm down, Xbox. Full list is below.
