Xbox has announced that they will once again be showing off what gaming goodness is in store at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, taking place on June 12.
The showcase is set to stream online June 12 at 10am Pacific – which is June 13 at 4am AEST for Australia. This is, as usual, pretty rough for us Aussies… but hopefully it’s worth staying up for (or waking up early for).

While E3 itself may be cancelled for this year, Xbox is still clearly keen to capitalise on the June gaming hype, especially with some massive releases on the horizon. Starfield is set to launch on November 11, so we expect a gameplay deep-dive at this years show, as so far we’ve only seen tidbits of what’s in store for the hotly anticipated sci-fi RPG.
In terms of other games we can expect, we haven’t heard a whole lot on State of Decay 3, Avowed or Fable since they were announced, while Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 could potentially land a release date finally. We also haven’t heard anything for a while on Rare’s Everwild or the Perfect Dark reboot, and the Gears series has been pretty quiet since Gears 5 came out three(!) years ago, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see a new entry by years end.
Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see if other AAA publishers like PlayStation or Nintendo choose to do a showcase in June around the same time, as Xbox clearly has some exciting announcements in store.
