With E3 2020 cancelled, companies such as Xbox have taken advantage of most of the world being at home and are live streaming reveals and announcements. It’s no surprise then that Ubisoft are getting in on the action and are bringing fans Ubisoft Foward.
Ubisoft Forward is a “digital showcase” of upcoming Ubisoft titles that will stream on the 12th of July. The developers haven’t given away what viewers will experience, but we can take a guess at some of the content.
Firstly, there will most likely be a bit more revealed about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This is obviously Ubisoft’s big game of 2020. So far we have seen a trailer and a disappointing “gameplay teaser.” Hopefully at this event we will see some actual gameplay.
It could also be possible that we may hear more about Watch Dogs: Legion, the third game in the Watch Dogs series. Legion was supposed to release in March of this year but has been delayed indefinitely. A tweet by Jason Schreier has started rumors that the game may release later this year.

Another game we may hear more about is Rainbow Six Quarantine. The online tactical shooter was delayed alongside Watch Dogs: Legion and Gods & Monsters at the end of 2019. Even though Rainbow Six Siege was released back in 2015, it has been the developer’s top earner for 2020. This is obviously due to the popularity of online games during COVID and its ongoing strength with gaming communities in general.
There may also be some news on Far Cry 6. There have been rumors circulating that the follow up to 2018’s Far Cry 5 will be set in North Korea or even on an alien planet. Then there’s that weird Prince of Persia leak from 2012, which could mean something? Or nothing.
All will be revealed when Ubisoft Forward airs on the 12th of July PST. For Australian who want to experience the conference live, it will be shown on the 13th of July at 7am AEST. In the meantime, make sure you keep an eye on Checkpoint for any Ubisoft Forward updates and rumours,
